The Company:
A long-standing Canberra-based commercial fit-out builder is seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join their team. Following a series of repeat project wins with long-term clients, they are looking to expand their team with a proven Project Manager who can take the lead across a range of upcoming commercial fit-out projects.

The Role:
As a Contracts Administrator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of commercial fit-out projects across Canberra. Working closely with the Project Manager and wider team, you’ll oversee subcontractor procurement, contract management, cost tracking, and administration from project award through to final accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage subcontractor packages, scopes of work, and contracts
• Monitor and track project costs, variations, and claims
• Assist in compiling project documentation, RFI management, and client reporting
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure project targets are met
• Ensure all financial and contractual aspects of the project are well-documented and compliant

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or similar
• Proven experience as a Contracts Administrator on commercial construction or fit-out projects
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Confident with construction software (e.g. Jobpac, Procore, or similar)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
