Are you a skilled Cyber Advisor looking for a challenging and mission-aligned role? Resolve Recruit is partnering with a prominent Commonwealth Government agency to engage an expert in assessing, advising and improving cybersecurity controls and documentation across ICT systems, platforms and environments.

You will support certification processes, risk identification and treatment, system audit reporting and contribute to the development of strategic and operational cybersecurity artefacts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, test and assess security controls in line with the ISM and internal policy.
• Produce security documentation and contribute to system certification activities.
• Evaluate effectiveness of controls to determine system suitability for operation.
• Analyse and document risks; recommend treatment options and security improvements.
• Develop and review artefacts such as Security Risk Management Plans and System Security Plans.
• Track risks centrally and contribute to audit planning and risk reduction activities.
• Share knowledge and ensure compliance with recordkeeping policies.

Key Experience and Skills:

• Extensive experience in cybersecurity within complex ICT environments.
• Strong knowledge of ISM, PSPF and international standards (e.g., ISO 27001/2).
• Proven capability in risk assessment and preparation of security accreditation artefacts.
