About the role
You will support the university in building cultural capability enhancing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural knowledge through program and course development with the aim to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Knowledges, perspectives and pedagogical practices into Federation University curricula.
You will:
- provide expert curriculum and assessment design advice relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Knowledges, perspectives and pedagogical practice;
- develop and deliver resources, materials and activities contributing staff cultural awareness;
- design and co-ordinate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural awareness through curriculum design activities for academic staff; and
- provide policy development in areas related to program and course design, and assessment in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander contexts.
About you
You will have specialist knowledge in the development and integration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Knowledges, perspectives and pedagogical into courses.
You will possess:
- experience in course design and delivery building opportunities for academic staff.
- experience in collaborative scholarly research and publication.
- demonstrated ability to provide learning and teaching expertise and advice to academic staff to ensure excellence in learning and teaching.
