✨ About the Role:

This is a designated Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander position under special measures in Section 12 of the Equal Opportunity Act 2010 (Vic). The role is open only to applicants who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.

We are seeking an experienced First Nations Educator to join our team in Victoria. The ideal candidate will deliver both clinical workplace observations and classroom-based training (virtual and/or in-person). Your lived experience and cultural insight will be invaluable in supporting our Aboriginal learners to succeed in their education and careers.

You will:

Deliver engaging, culturally safe training across the Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate IV in Ageing Support, and the Administer & Monitor Medications unit.

Provide one-on-one student support, mentorship, and guidance, particularly for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learners.

Conduct workplace assessments and simulations with professionalism and cultural understanding.

Collaborate with our operations and training team to embed First Nations perspectives in learning.

About You:

Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.

Hold current registration with AHPRA (minimum Endorsed Enrolled Nurse, RN preferred).

Hold a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent).

Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in aged, disability, or community healthcare.

Demonstrated experience or strong interest in mentoring First Nations learners.

Strong communication skills and ability to create safe, inclusive learning environments.
