The Firm:

Our client is a boutique law firm in Woolloongabba. They specialise in Employment, Industrial, Coronial, Safety & Workers Compensation Law. With a focus on results for their clients, they understand the overwhelming nature of legal action, and pride themselves on simplifying it for their clients. Their clients are comprised mainly of employers, but they also support individual clients.

They are seeking Junior Lawyers. A glimpse into the interesting work involved in this role includes:

• Advising clients on all aspects of employment /IR law, including hiring, termination, workplace policies, and industrial relations

• Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, enterprise agreements, and other legal documents

• Staying up to date with legislative changes and case law and provide regular case and legislative updates to existing clients and potential clients via email and various social media platforms.

About you:

To succeed in a junior capacity, you will be required to exhibit the following:

• Approximately 1 - 3 years PAE in employment law.

• Good knowledge of industrial relations and employment legislation, regulations, and case law.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, referrers and stakeholders.
