We're seeking an experienced Port Operator with proven skills in operating Forklifts and Front-End Loaders (RII - CAT980 experience preferred) to support ongoing mineral export operations in Townsville. You'll be hands-on in managing material movements from rail, truck, and ship, assisting with loading, stockpiling, and transfer processes across a busy bulk handling terminal. This role suits someone confident in mobile plant operation, safety compliance, and working flexible shifts across day, night, and weekends..

What you'll do
This is a dynamic operator role where you will:
• Operate both Forklift (LF licence) and/or RII Front-End Loader (ideally CAT980)
• Manage the movement of bulk materials across a live port environment
• Load/unload rail wagons, trucks, and support ship-loading processes
• Carry out pre-starts and operate in accordance with safety and environmental protocols
• Follow site hygiene and handling standards, including clean-in/clean-out procedures

What you'll need
• Valid Forklift High-Risk Licence (LF)
• Valid RII ticket for Front-End Loader (CAT980 experience desirable)
• Be clean shaven for respirator use and fit testing

Ability to pass
• Pre-employment medical & functional capacity test
• Drug & Alcohol screening
• Blood lead test and comply with ongoing monitoring requirements
