About the role

Focus Laser Group is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic team in Brendale, Queensland. As a skilled full-time Press Brake Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations, operating state-of-the-art press brake machinery to shape and form metal components to precise specifications.

What you'll be doing

Operate press brake machinery to bend, fold and shape metal components according to engineering drawings and production requirements

Set up and adjust press brake equipment to achieve the desired bends, angles and dimensions

Inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality standards

Maintain detailed production records and logs

Assist with general workshop duties and housekeeping to keep the work environment clean and organized

Identify and report any equipment issues or maintenance needs

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar metal fabrication role

Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Excellent precision, attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Commitment to workplace safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks

Good communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work efficiently and meet production targets
