ANDHealth+ is the leading digital and connected health commercialisation program in Australia, with a proven track record of identifying and scaling digital and connected health businesses. Our Non-Dilutive Investment (NDI) function is looking for an additional Portfolio Manager to join the team.

The NDI team delivers our $22.5 million MRFF Funded ANDHealth+ Program, and co-delivers two $50 million BioMedtech Incubator Programs (CUREator+ and CUREator+ Dementia and Cognitive Declines) alongside our partner, Brandon BioCatalyst. This is a rare opportunity to collaborate with a highly successful organisation delivering a proven model: according to an independent review by LEK Consulting in 2023, for every $1 spend in the program, ANDHealth+ companies raised $19.70 in capital and delivered $4.20 in gross economic value.

You will be involved across the life cycle of program delivery for all current and future programs: supporting cohort selection, incorporating feedback from advisory panels, conducting due diligence, developing and managing projects that de-risk or create new value for our companies, connecting companies to relevant resources and suppliers, and assisting with program reporting and administration. You will also work across the ANDHealth organisation in the delivery of programs such as the TGA Software as a Medical Device education and office hours support, thought leadership and industry reports like our Giant series, or assisting other teams with workshops and events.

You will have:

Relevant tertiary qualification e.g., commerce, science, medicine, law or engineering;

3+ years experience, ideally in a commercial or consulting role within the medical devices, digital and connected health, investment or health services or similar

Knowledge of relevant commercialisation areas such as healthcare technologies, regulatory and reimbursement frameworks, clinical evidence, health economics is highly desirable – coupled with a desire to learn more

Excellent presentation and communication / writing skills

Exceptional research skills, with financial literacy and business acumen
