We provide comprehensive continence assessments, wound and catheter treatment and management options, and supply products tailored to individual health and community nursing needs.

We are seeking a dedicated and experience Community & Continence Registered Nurse with experience with continence assessments and reporting or willingness to learn based in Brisbane's East to join our team. This is a Perm-Time role (minimum 4 days per week, 8:30am to 5:00pm), with a mix of Office, Work-from-Home and travel as required.

Key Responsibilities

Continence Care Assessments & Reports

Conduct face-to-face and telehealth assessments and reviews.

Prepare professional continence reports and prescriptions.

Request product quotes from suppliers and develop care plans.

Build rapport with participants to ensure person-centered care.

Note: This role involves a significant report-writing component and requires strong clinical documentation skills.

Catheter Services

Perform routine indwelling [male & female] and suprapubic catheter changes and maintenance.

Develop and review individualised care plans.

Wound Care

Perform assessments for both simple and complex wounds.

Develop and review wound care plans based on outcomes.

Supervise support staff to ensure optimal care.

Requirements

Bachelor of Nursing degree and current AHPRA Nursing Registration.

NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check.

Experienced in NDIS/Community Nursing/ Aged Care

Confident in catheter and wound care

Confident in extensive and detailed report writing

Valid Open Driver's License and Reliable Fully Insured Vehicle.

Valid police clearance check.

Professional indemnity and public liability insurance ($10m each).

Current CPR and First Aid certificates.

Annual immunisation certificate (including COVID vaccination).

Reliable Internet and Phone Service

Willingness to undertake continence care training to further develop in this specialised field.
