About The Opportunity

As an Android Developer, you'll help design, build and maintain efficient, user-friendly Android apps.

Key duties include:

• Contribute to Product Strategy: Provide input to guide product direction and user-focused decisions
• Enhance Navigation and Localisation: Work with the team to develop and refine key mapping features
• Improve Accessibility and UX: Continuously optimise the app’s UI and ensure it’s accessible to all users
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with design, data, and support teams to deliver cohesive solutions
• Own and Maintain the clients Android App: Take full responsibility for the app’s performance and ongoing improvements

About You

The successful candidate will have

• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to product development
• A passion for creating accessible technology solutions that make a real-world impact
• Proven experience in Android development, particularly with Jetpack Compose, ARCore, and Mapbox
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, non-hierarchical team environment
• Familiarity with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile and a strong understanding of localisation and navigation algorithms
• A passion for emerging technologies, with a particular interest in machine learning as well as indoor positioning and navigation systems
