About the Role

As our HR & Recruitment Officer, you'll play a hands-on role supporting our manufacturing workforce and broader business across all stages of the employee lifecycle. From recruitment and onboarding to compliance and general HR support, you’ll be central to ensuring our teams are supported, skilled, and aligned with Laurent’s high standards.

Reporting to the Head of HR, this role is perfect for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, people-focused environment and takes pride in being a reliable HR support across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate end-to-end recruitment for manufacturing and broader teams – from advertising to interviews and reference checks.

Manage onboarding and induction processes to ensure a smooth start for all new hires.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HRIS data.

Support development of training plans, especially for manufacturing roles.

Prepare reports, assist in policy documentation, and support HR project work as needed.

Liaise with line managers, payroll, and key internal stakeholders to deliver best-practice HR services.

What You’ll Bring

Prior experience in a HR or Recruitment Officer or HR Administrator role (preferably in a manufacturing or hospo setting).

Sound knowledge of core HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, and general HR support.

Strong administration and time management skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and ideally experience using HRIS platforms.

Understanding of Fair Work legislation and basic employment law.

Desirable

Bachelor's degree in human resources or business preferred.

Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, or hospitality industries an advantage.
