My client is a leading consultancy team, working on a wide array of projects in the energy and infrastructure sectors, supporting both new developments and existing asset operations. This 12-month contract role offers the flexibility of working from either Brisbane or Melbourne, with hybrid working options to support work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

Apply recognised engineering principles for onshore pipeline design

Ensure compliance with client specifications, industry standards, environmental regulations, and quality systems

Support proposal development with cost and schedule estimates

Plan and deliver pipeline design activities in line with project schedules

Provide mentoring and technical guidance to junior engineers

Identify and manage delivery risks, supporting mitigation and change strategies

Requirements:

A degree in Mechanical Engineering

RPEQ registration (or ability to obtain)

Proven experience in CS pipeline design and construction to AS2885

Strong knowledge of HDPE gas and water network design and APGA Code of Practice

Experience in material selection, fracture control, and line pipe specification

Familiarity with pipeline construction support, design reviews, and risk assessments

Full Australian working rights
