We’re on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Assistant Manager to take the lead in our our vibrant Inner West location.

Andiamo is a casual Italian trattoria offering dine-in and takeaway, known for rustic Italian dishes, warm hospitality, and a relaxed yet polished atmosphere. We’re all about great food, great people, and genuine service.

About the Role

This is a full-time, hands-on leadership role where you’ll be the face of the venue. You’ll be responsible for:

Leading and motivating the front-of-house team

Managing daily operations including rostering, stock control, and ordering

Coordinating with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service

Meeting KPIs and reporting to the Restaurant Manager and owners

Creating memorable guest experiences every shift

What We’re Looking For

We’re after someone who’s energetic, people-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, you’ll have:

2+ years’ experience in a similar management or shift manager role

Strong leadership and team development skills

A customer-first mindset and passion for hospitality

Solid organisational and time management abilities

Confidence in using POS and basic business software

A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making

Excellent communication skills

Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends

Impeccable grooming and presentation

A valid RSA Certificate
