The Applications Manager position is a key leadership role within IT team responsible for the overall leadership of the ICT applications and integration environment. The Manager is responsible for planning, budgeting and managing the AWH application portfolio to support the delivery of high quality clinical and corporate services.
We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity.
- Tertiary and/or post graduate qualifications in Software Engineering or related discipline.
- Demonstrated staff leadership skills, leading by example, pro-actively working within projects to ensure execution against required time frames and architectural standards.
- Extensive experience and proven success in similar positions within a large, complex organisation.
- Experience developing and executing business plans.
- Highly developed analytical skills with an ability to research business requirements and present solutions.
- Pragmatic approach to demand. Experience in breaking down elements into minimum viable product offering to satisfy multiple departments demands in parallel.
- Current Victorian driver's licence or equivalent.

It is the first cross border public health service to exist in Australia, and operates under an agreement between New South Wales and Victorian governments to provide the largest regional health care services between Sydney and Melbourne.
