The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Development Manager to join this high-performing team. This role is key to the successful delivery of medium- and high-density residential, mixed-use, retail, commercial, and industrial projects post-development approval.
You’ll take the reins on project delivery—driving outcomes across cost, program, and quality benchmarks—while also contributing expert input during acquisitions and early planning stages.
This is an exciting opportunity for a delivery-focused property professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across the full lifecycle of built form development projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of built form projects post-DA.
- Lead project planning, strategy, and risk mitigation.
- Oversee budget control, cost forecasting, and project reporting.
- Coordinate and manage consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
- Administer contracts and act as Principal’s Representative during construction.
- Drive quality assurance, variation management, defect resolution, and project close-out.
- Liaise with key stakeholders across sales, marketing, leasing, and legal.
- Provide buildability and cost advice at acquisition and early design stages.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to best-practice systems.
About You
- Proven experience delivering built form projects across residential, commercial or industrial sectors.
- Strong project and contract management skills, including site supervision and defect resolution.
- Solid understanding of construction processes, cost planning, and risk management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work across all project phases, from feasibility to final delivery.
- Tertiary qualifications in Property, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
