About the role

Cinda's Pet Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate part-time Pet Groomer to join our team in Barnsley, NSW 2278. As a Pet Groomer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, health and overall well-being of our clients' beloved pets.

What you'll be doing

• Providing a range of professional grooming services, including bathing, trimming, brushing, and nail clipping
• Identifying and addressing any skin, coat or other health-related issues with pets
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised grooming area
• Effectively communicating with clients to understand their preferences and ensure their pets' needs are met
• Adhering to all relevant health, safety and animal welfare regulations
• Assisting with other pet care duties as required

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a professional pet groomer, preferably in a salon or veterinary setting
• Excellent knowledge of pet grooming techniques, tools and products
• Strong animal handling skills and the ability to work calmly and safely with pets
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with clients
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and grooming
• Certification in pet grooming or a related field is highly desirable but not needed
• Need to be available to work Saturdays
