Registered Psychologist (Child/Adolescent Focus)
Cheltenham + optional days in Hawthorn or Telehealth | Existing caseload ready to go
Join a Team That’s Changing the Face of Male Mental Health
At Blokes Psychology, we specialise in supporting the mental health of boys and men across Melbourne and beyond. With thriving clinics in Hawthorn and Cheltenham—and a growing national telehealth presence, we’ve spent over 7 years challenging the stigma around seeking support.
We’re a values-driven team that genuinely believes in work-life balance, strong clinical support, and a down-to-earth culture. When our team feels supported and enjoys their work, clients benefit; and that’s what we care about most.
We’re on the lookout for a Psychologist with experience supporting children, teens & (ideally) adults
One of our long-serving child & adolescent psychologist is heading into a full-time research fellowship, leaving behind an existing caseload of young people (aged 6+) and a strong referral stream in this space.
We’re now looking for someone to step into that role and make it their own.
This is a great fit for someone who enjoys variety in their caseload (children, adolescents and adults) and thrives in a private practice environment where the support is solid, the culture is relaxed, and the admin is sorted.
The Role
Immediate need for Wednesdays & Thursdays (afternoons/evenings) in Cheltenham
Optional 1–3 days in Hawthorn or Telehealth — flexible days and hours available
Intervention-focused role (mood, anxiety, ADHD, ASD)
Ability to conduct assessments welcomed, but not essential
Choose employee or contractor structure
Why Blokes Psychology?
Competitive above-award salary or contractor rates – based on experience
Flexibility & work-life balance – we’ll work with your ideal schedule
Incredible team culture – supportive, relaxed, and values-driven
Clinical development – PD budget, group & individual supervision
Admin taken care of – on-site admin + VA support means you do what you do best
Opportunities to grow – especially for those interested in men’s or family mental health
Who We’re Looking For
Psychologist (General or Clinical) registered with AHPRA (Registrars welcome to apply)
Medicare provider eligibility (essential)
Experience working with children, teens & parents
Confident managing common presentations like anxiety, mood, ADHD & ASD
Bonus if you can offer assessments (e.g. ADHD, cognitive, diagnostic)
Warm, reliable and team-oriented
You don’t need direct experience in “men’s mental health” - just an interest in supporting young people and families, and a desire to make a difference.
We welcome applications from psychologists of all genders and backgrounds.
