Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Demand Planner to join our Melbourne team. In this role, you will be responsible for forecasting customer demand, managing inventory levels, and ensuring seamless alignment between our production capabilities and market requirements. This position plays a critical role in maintaining optimal stock levels, reducing costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and seasonal patterns to develop accurate demand forecasts;

Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams to integrate business insights into forecasting processes;

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely stock replenishment;

Participate in weekly planning meetings to discuss strategies and resolve potential supply chain challenges;

Adjust forecasts proactively based on real-time sales data and market dynamics to align with business goals.

Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain roles;

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and forecasting techniques;

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams;

Experience in the manufacturing or production industry is a plus;

A qualification in accounting or finance is highly advantageous.
