Senior Actuary - Actuarial Science & Statistical Modelling (APS6 Equivalent)
Location: NSW or VIC (Hybrid work)
Contract: 12 months + possible extension

We are seeking an experienced Senior Actuary to lead actuarial science and statistical modelling initiatives. You will work with complex datasets, develop advanced models, and provide quantitative insights to support strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and validate datasets from multiple sources.

Develop and maintain performance metrics and reporting frameworks.

Design and apply actuarial and statistical models (GLMs, GBMs).

Undertake specialised modelling and reporting projects.

Communicate technical findings effectively to stakeholders.

Provide leadership within your team.

Key Requirements:

4-7 years' experience in actuarial science or quantitative analysis.

Advanced R programming skills.

Proficiency in SQL and SAS.

Strong knowledge of actuarial and statistical modelling techniques.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.

Working towards or holding actuarial Associate or Fellowship qualifications.

Australian citizenship is required.

Work Arrangements:

Hybrid, minimum 3 days in-office weekly.

Location flexibility in NSW or VIC.
