Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Wine & Restaurant Consultant / Management Consultant to support the growth and development of our restaurant, Bistro KAI. This role will involve working closely with our current management team to strengthen operational systems, enhance staff performance, and improve wine procurement and service standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong wine knowledge, a proven track record in hospitality management, and the ability to identify and implement practical improvements across business functions. You will be responsible for refining our current framework, training staff, optimising booking and ordering systems, and helping establish supplier relationships and business accounts.

This is a contract or project-based role, with flexibility in working hours and scope depending on mutual agreement.

Key Skill Requirements and Attributes:

In-depth wine knowledge and procurement experience

Ability to restructure and optimise business systems

Strong inventory and stock management skills

Experience setting up business accounts with wine suppliers

Proven ability to train and coach hospitality staff and managers

Solid understanding of day-to-day restaurant operations

Familiarity with booking systems and process streamlining

Knowledge of compliance and hospitality best practices in Australia
