Syncaco by Synergie are seeking a reliable and experienced HC Driver to join our team. The role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently to various destinations while adhering to all road regulations and company policies.

Our client, located in Berrimah, Darwin, is offering an attractive rate of $40 per hour for a standard 38-hour workweek, with opportunities for additional overtime. This position is available for an immediate start and offers ongoing work for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate HC-class vehicles, including semi-trailers and rigid trucks with trailers, in a safe and professional manner.
• Transport goods to specified destinations within designated timelines.
• Perform vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure roadworthiness and report any issues.
• Secure loads in compliance with safety regulations and company guidelines.
• Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery notes, and other required documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to provide updates on deliveries and any delays.
• Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safety.
• Adhere to fatigue management practices and ensure compliance with legal driving hours.
• Assist with loading and unloading as required.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the assigned vehicle.

Requirements:

• Valid HC Driver's License.
• Must have current forklift ticket
• Proven experience driving HC-class vehicles.
• Sound knowledge of load restraint techniques and road safety regulations.
• Ability to operate GPS and other navigational tools.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Physical fitness for manual handling of goods when necessary.
• Familiarity with fatigue management principles.
