We’re seeking a reliable and motivated couple to manage the day-to-day operations of the Comet Gold Mine Tourist Centre, located just 9km south of Marble Bar – Australia’s hottest town and a true slice of WA history.

About the Role:

This is a live-in caretaker/management position ideal for a couple with a love for history, tourism, and the remote lifestyle. Duties include:

Opening and operating the museum and gift shop

Greeting and guiding visitors

Basic grounds and building maintenance

Cleaning and general upkeep of the property

Providing local tourism information

Coordinating with management for supplies and reporting

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Basic computer literacy (for point-of-sale and admin tasks)
