Talenza are currently seeking a Data Architect with strong Data Modelling experience for an Australian financial services organisation. The successful candidate will have experience setting up a data modelling function from scratch.

Only open to Brisbane based candidates as the role requires 3 days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Architecture Design: Develop and implement a comprehensive data architecture strategy, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
• Data Modelling: Establish data modelling standards, design schemas, and define best practices for structured and unstructured data.
• Cloud Integration: Architect data solutions leveraging AWS and GCP, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems and analytics platforms.
• Governance & Compliance: Implement data governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards within the insurance industry.
• ETL Pipelines: Design and oversee ETL processes for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including data engineers, analysts, and business leaders, to align the data strategy with company goals.
