About the role:
We are seeking a motivated and technically capable Technical Sales Representative to drive growth within their equipment hire and sales division. This role suits a driven individual who thrives on delivering tailored solutions in dynamic infrastructure environments. Based close to Newcastle, NSW you’ll be responsible for developing and managing key accounts across NSW, you’ll engage directly with clients in civil and specialist engineering, providing consultation, equipment recommendations, and sales support for trench shoring and related systems.
Key Duties:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients while actively identifying and acquiring new customers
Prepare accurate rental and sales quotations, negotiate contract terms, and oversee project coordination
Collaborate with internal teams to support customers across the full lifecycle
Provide consultative support to planning offices and procurement bodies to ensure optimal product integration
Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at expanding market reach and enhancing brand position
Skills & Experience:
Commercial or technical background with proven B2B sales experience (civil engineering or equipment rental preferred)
Confident in identifying custom solutions to client challenges and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a strong understanding of site-level processes and contractor requirements
Proficient in MS Office; CRM knowledge advantageous
Full driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required
