An opportunity exists for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurses to work on a permanent basis in our Recovery Department. Full time positions are available and our preference is for grades 1 - 3.

In this role, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse Specialists, and Shift Leaders to ensure a high standard of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values of putting ‘Patients First’.

Essential Criteria

Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA

Minimum of 1 - 2 years’ experience in a Recovery Unit.

The ability to work both independently and within a team structure.

Demonstrated understanding of current relevant guidelines, regulations and standards.

Understanding of the ACORN & National Standards.

Compliance with ACQSHC National standards

Candidates with a postgraduate qualification in perioperative nursing will be highly regarded.

Excellent communications and interpersonal skills; the ability to engage positively with all stakeholders

Commitment to quality, best practice and environmental safety

Knowledge of legal and ethical requirements

Demonstrated knowledge of professional standards

Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills.

Hold a passport or visa that allows you to live and work in Australia.

Valid Working with Children and Police Check.

Desirable

Post Graduate Certificate/Diploma in Recovery (Perioperative Nursing),or working towards.
