About the role

Ability to Achieve is seeking a full-time Clinical Female Registered Nurse / House Coordinator to join our dedicated team in Canberra, ACT. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional nursing care and coordination for our community.

What you'll be doing

Deliver high-quality nursing care to patient, prioritising their safety, wellbeing and independence

Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the residential facility, ensuring efficient workflows and a nurturing environment

Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans

Monitor patients' health status and provide timely interventions to address any changes or concerns

Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

Oversee and mentor junior nursing staff, fostering a positive and supportive team culture

Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives and continue your professional development

What we're looking for

Registered Nurse (Division 1) with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a community, maternal or child health setting

Demonstrated expertise in delivering patient-centred nursing care and coordinating residential facility operations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team

Highly organised and adaptable, with the capacity to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands

Commitment to continuing professional development and a passion for enhancing the quality of healthcare services

Current Australian registration and a valid National Police Check
