ACC Higgins is one of Australia’s largest and best-regarded coffin and casket manufacturers in Australia. ACC Higgins has a manufacturing base and office in Malaga, Perth which services Funeral Directors across Western Australia. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled timber specialist to join our group and build a long-term career.

You are ‘Hands On’ with a strong timber and assembly skills who will build rapport with the production team. Your key duties will include interpreting plans and drawings, analysing specifications, selecting and working with materials, assembling coffins, caskets and fittings, involvement in continuous improvement and production efficiency processes and logistics to ensure that company quality and delivery standards are consistently met.

Minimum requirements: Certificate III in relevant field including two years on the job training or relevant Certificate IV qualification, or minimum of three years of work experience as a Cabinetmaker required for this position.

A minimum of 12 months of work experience in a relevant field is required for this position.
