Community Manager / Peppermint Magazine

Peppermint is a magazine and digital platform created by a small team in Brisbane, covering style, sustainability, sewing and substance. We're looking for an experienced Customer Service and Admin whizz to work approx 12 hours over three days per week (Mon/Wed/Thurs) assisting with customer service, admin, orders and subscription management. We are based in Brisbane and our orders are managed from Milton. It is essential that you have a valid drivers license and reliable private transport to enable you to get to Milton easily and quickly throughout the week, while working from home the rest of the time. Hours may vary week-to-week with a minimum of 10.5 hours.

Responsibilities include:

Manage subscription sales, including inputting all sales data and ensuring that the Peppermint subscription database is accurate and functioning to the best of its ability at all times.

Maintain customer service to the highest level possible.

Respond quickly and positively to queries, requests or issues raised by customers, and resolve them effectively, accurately and courteously.

Assisting with stockist and sales orders, including maintaining order quantities, delivery details, arranging couriers and packaging orders (stock is kept in storage in Milton).

Assisting with partnerships and events as needed.

General admin and extra duties as needed to support the Editor-in-Chief and the team.

All applicants MUST have:

A background in admin and database management.

A proven history of customer service.

A strong understand of CRM systems, with high competency at working through various software programmes.

Very strong organisation skills.

A valid driver's licence and reliable private transport/car

Useful knowledge but not necessary:

Basic knowledge in Photoshop and InDesign.

Familiarity with Wordpress and Google Drive.

Knowledge or background in sewing
