We are an Australian construction company focus on high end products. we are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our team for high-profile duplex/townhouses/apartment development projects. As the builder’s consultant, you will play a key role in ensuring the geotechnical integrity of the project, including basement design and construction compliance (CC). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a complex urban development, providing critical insights to mitigate risks and deliver safe, cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct geotechnical investigations and analyses for the houses/duplex/townhouses/apartment/ project, focusing on basement stability and earthworks.

• Review and interpret soil reports, lab data, and site conditions to inform design and construction methodologies.

• Collaborate with structural engineers, architects, and contractors to address geotechnical challenges (e.g., excavation, retaining walls, groundwater control).

• Prepare technical documentation for Construction Certification (CC), ensuring compliance with Australian standards (AS 2870, AS 3798, etc.).

• Provide on-site support during critical phases (e.g., basement excavation, piling) to resolve geotechnical issues.

• Advise on risk management, slope stability, and foundation systems tailored to urban constraints.
