We are looking an experienced Body Corporate/Strata Paralegal to join our client, who is a boutique firm based in Southport. With a strong presence in the Gold Coast and Brisbane markets, their team is dedicated to delivering practical legal solutions with a client-first mindset.

In this role, you will work closely with senior lawyers and clients across a range of strata-related matters, including community management statements, by-law drafting, body corporate disputes, and development advisory work.

You can expect to complete the following duties in your day:

• Drafting and amending Community Management Statements (CMS) and by-laws
• Preparing and lodging Titles Registry documents (including CMS registrations, easements, and more)
• Assisting with body corporate governance documents, meeting notices, and resolutions
• Supporting solicitors with dispute matters lodged with the BCCM (Commissioner's Office)
• Conducting body corporate searches and preparing disclosure statements
• Liaising with developers, body corporate managers, lot owners, and external stakeholders
• Providing administrative and legal support on a wide range of strata and property matters

To be successful in this role, you will ideally hold:

• Strong working knowledge of the Body Corporate and Community Management Act 1997 (Qld)
• Experience with CMS drafting and understanding of community titles schemes
• High attention to detail and excellent time management
• Ability to manage files independently and prioritise competing deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software (e.g. LEAP, PEXA, eLodgement)
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset and strong client service skills
