Transcriptionist

Located at the VIQ Solutions offices in Perth, WA

Position(s) available:

Casual roles are currently available (full time hours on offer)

2 weeks of paid training provided

Position Purpose

In this role, you will listen to audio and video recordings and, strictly adhering to style guides, produce accurate transcripts. Each day you will encounter new and diverse content and have opportunities to apply and expand your general knowledge. This exciting opportunity provides a first-hand view of the legal system.

The purpose of this role is to support the day-to-day functions of the production team.

Experience in transcribing legal content, including court hearings (audio transcription), will be well-regarded but is not essential.

Qualifications

• Typing speed of 80 wpm with high accuracy
• Candidates without Transcription experience who meet the above criteria and are capable, enthusiastic, and quick to learn are encouraged to apply.
• National Police Clearance will be required for all VIQ roles
