Quest Robina, located in the bustling stadium precinct of Robina, is a modern 104-room apartment hotel offering a wide range of accommodation options, including pet friendly options and fantastic guest amenities, such as an onsite gymnasium and heated outdoor pool.
As part of our Maintenance Department, you'll help us maintain the property to the highest of standards whilst ensuring that every guest enjoys a seamless and exceptional experience through your efforts.

We’re on the lookout for a proactive and detail oriented Handyman to join our well established Maintenance team. If you're passionate about being on the tools, enjoy variety in your day, and love helping others, this could be the role for you.

The Role:

The Handyman plays a key role in keeping our property looking sharp and functioning smoothly. Every day is different, and the work you do will help shape a great stay for every guest.

Your responsibilities will include:

General maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities

Basic repairs — including light bulbs, fixtures, fittings, and touch-up painting

Assisting the Maintenance Manager by working on larger, project based jobs across the property

Turning around same day maintenance requests

Coordinating with external contractors & technicians

Supporting the wider hotel with room readiness and property presentation

Keeping equipment and tools in good working order

Use of power tools, and property issued maintenance equipment.

This role also involves use of digital tools to track tasks and projects, and communication Interdepartmentally for efficiency. Being comfortable with basic tech is a plus.

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

Holds a relevant trade qualification (or has strong general maintenance experience)

Has 1–2 years of experience in a handyman/maintenance role (hotel or similar preferred)

Holds a current, valid Australian Driver’s Licence

Is available for flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays

Is reliable, solutions focused, and takes great pride in their work

Can work confidently without supervision

Has initiative and time management ability

Brings a positive, guest first attitude to the role
