Workfast is looking for multiple Boilermakers paying $65.00 Per Hour, Flat Rate for a valued client based in Malaga, WA.

• $65.00 Per Hour, Flat Rate
• Monday - Friday - 06.00am - 2.00pm
• Overtime Available & Required Depending On Workload
• Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

What you need:

• Australian Trade Certificate - MEM31922 Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking/Welding)
• Australian Driver's License
• High Risk Work License – Forklift
• White Card
• Overhead Crane Experience - Desirable
• **Ability to pass a basic hard-facing test along with a 2G FCAW weld test**

What you will be doing:

• Perform hard-face overlay welding on cast components and sizer shafts using FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) process
• Carry out arc air gouging to remove cracks and defective material from sizer shafts and components
• Fit replacement or refurbished components to bare sizer shafts and wear rings
• Assist mechanical fitters in the stripping and reassembly of sizer and associated mechanical components
• Collaborate with the QA/QC team to maintain high standards of workmanship and documentation
• Operate overhead gantry cranes and forklifts in accordance with site safety protocols and load-handling procedures
