Boilermaker
Location: Malaga
Hours: Monday to Friday (10-12hrs day shifts)
Duration: 2-month period for the possibility for extension.
Rate: $55/hr + Super + Penalties

About the role:
Pearl Recruitment are currently searching for a Boilermaker to join our well-established client in Malaga who specialises in the manufacturing of prefabricated industrial products to support an existing project on a short term basis starting immediately.

Requirements:

• A Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (or equivalent)
• Full Australian Driver’s license & Vehicle
• Complete a pre-employment medical & DAS
• Safe and consistent use of tools including grinders, torches, tape measures, magnetic squares, and workshop equipment
• Forklift, overhead crane, or confined space tickets are a bonus

Duties:

• Interpreting workshop drawings, fabricating steel to specifications, and welding components to the required standard.
• Be competent in MIG welding, with a good understanding of weld prep and visual inspection criteria
• You’ll work with a team under the direction of the Supervisor, ensuring your work is safe, neat, and done right the first time.
• You’ll also contribute to quality checks, flag issues early, and help maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Working on heavy columns, trusses, beams or brackets
