Position: Occupational Therapist First Nations Graduate (Identified)
- Under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.

About the role:
This opportunity is for First Nations graduate Occupational Therapists to join our Occupational Therapy team at Townsville University Hospital. As a graduate Occupational Therapist, you will be delivering Occupational Therapy clinical services as a member of a multidisciplinary team to stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health.
The First Nations Allied Health Graduate Pathway will provide a culturally safe and supportive entry to practice. The Pathway is two years in duration and includes enhanced training, development and cultural mentoring support. There is dedicated time provided to complete the pathway equivalent to 1 day/fortnight.

- Salary range: $3030.00 to $4453.50 p.f. (HP3)
- Annual leave with 17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

Requirements:
- Mandatory qualifications (Occupational Therapy) and proof of registration.
- Possession of class C drivers' licence.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
- Roster: This position is required to work on weekends on a rostered basis as part of the Occupational Therapy Weekend Service.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted including criminal history clearance.
