Clear Logistics Australia Pty Ltd (CLA) is a diverse and accomplished marine services provider. Australian-owned and operated, we provide marine solutions to the resource and industrial sectors.

CLA are contracted long term to dredge in Moreton Bay and have a multi-purpose vessel that is equipped with world class dredging equipment. This project is alongside other CLA operations.

We are currently seeking the following, experienced, dual ticketed personnel to join our marine operation in Brisbane.

Responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable Dredging and unload of product on our vessel, the successful candidate will work well in a team environment, have good communication skills and be able to manage competing or changing priorities. With a hands-on attitude to their work, all team members will consider the project requirements when fulfilling their role and work together to achieve these.

The successful candidate will undertake daily dredging operations from Moreton Bay and unloading alongside a berth in Brisbane River, thus it is advantageous if the applicant has previous dredging experience or similar.

The position is Brisbane based on a rotating roster of 2 on 2 off and requires an immediate start – the candidate must have their own transport and be able to travel at different rostered hours over a 24-hour period. (no FIFO opportunity).

This is a dual ticketed role - the candidate must be able to confidently fulfil both the below roles:

MATE POSITION

Marine ticket - minimum Master 5

Valid AMSA Certificate of Medical Fitness.

Senior First Aid Certificate

MSIC or the ability to obtain an MSIC

Have previous experience in dredging operations (preferred)

MARINE ENGINE DRIVER GRADE 2 NC

Marine Engine Driver 2 (MED 2) or higher with trade background (preferred)

Valid AMSA Certificate of Medical Fitness

Senior First Aid Certificate

MSIC or the ability to obtain an MSIC

Position Duties

Maintaining a strong healthy attitude towards safe work practices

Completing general / standard machine maintenance as instructed

Possessing a sound knowledge and ability around conducting machinery pre starts

Carry out all tasks in accordance with company-based policy and procedures.

Fulfil your obligations under the vessel Safety Management System

Facilitate vessel maintenance and operational needs specific to this project.
