Davidson is partnering with a leading bank in Australia who is seeking a Scrum Master who thrives in fast-paced, agile environments and understands the inner workings of large, complex financial ecosystems.

About the Role
This 12-month contract offers the opportunity to work at the heart of digital transformation within the banking sector. You'll lead cross-functional squads in the delivery of digital initiatives-think mobile apps, customer portals, banking platforms and more.

Key responsibilities include:

• Facilitating all Agile ceremonies with a focus on continuous improvement
• Removing blockers and enabling delivery teams to perform at their best
• Supporting Product Owners with backlog prioritisation and stakeholder alignment
• Promoting Agile values and coaching squads on best practices
• Managing risks, dependencies, and ensuring clear communication across streams.

About You
You're a confident, delivery-driven Scrum Master with a track record of steering digital projects in the banking or financial services sector.

What you bring to the table:

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master working on digital applications or customer-facing platforms
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and how to tailor them in complex environments
• Previous exposure to banking systems and compliance-heavy environments
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
