Our Service - St Cecilia's Long Day Care + Kindergarten
Located in the heritage-listed St Cecilia’s school building, our families enjoy the best of both new facilities and old-world charm. Catering for up to 49 children, our high ceilings, French doors and polished timber floors provide a comfortable, home-like space where children feel relaxed and at ease.

We are conveniently located opposite Hamilton State School and have a good partnership with the school where children regularly visit to explore the environment and familiarise themselves to ease the transition into primary school.

Hours: Permanent Part-time Opportunities available (Up to 37.5 Hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the children to create fun recreational and educational experiences that support their well-being.
• Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment.
• Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
• Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare’s expectations and educational philosophy.
• Participate in professional and personal development.
• You will be pivotal in developing our children's lifelong love of learning.
• Can build a strong rapport with our families, educators, and community.

Job Requirements:

• Hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA equivalent, or be studying or willing to enrol in study
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Knowledge and understanding of the childcare industry practices including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.
• A passion for the education and care of children aged 6 months -Kindergarten aged in a play-based learning environment.
• Effective workplace communication skills
