The Opportunity
Downer's Energy & Utilities business has opportunities for multiple casual Mechanical Fitters with Rope Access for a FIFO role located at Port Hedland in WA. We can offer start dates from July 2025 with a variety of shutdown dates throughout the year. You will provide your expertise in maintaining fixed plant within a Rope Access shutdown project environment, ensuring that work is completed safely, effectively and to the required standard.
About You
- Site Proficient: Have experience working as a Mechanical Fitter within a Rope Access environment.
- Technically Proficient: Experienced in Rope Access Welding (any level) with IRATA card and logbook
- Site Qualifications: Hold full working rights in Australia, MSIC, White Card, Fire certificate, Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Test Atmospheres tickets (within 5 years validity).
- Team Oriented: Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills and a commitment to safety.
