Heritage College is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher for Year 1.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position commencing at the beginning of Term 3 and concluding in the second week of Term 4. The position is being offered to cover a staff member who will be on leave. It is open to both experienced teachers and recent graduates.

Heritage College provides co-educational Christian education from 3 and 4-year-old Early Learning through to Year 12.

Key Responsibilities Skills and Qualifications

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, differentiated learning programs aligned with the Australian Curriculum, integrating ICT and using effective assessment strategies to evaluate and enhance student outcomes.
  • Apply evidence-based teaching practices and reflect critically on feedback to continuously improve professional knowledge, skills, and student learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to foster a culture of improvement in teaching and learning within the school and the wider Seventh-day Adventist school system.
  • Actively support and promote the Christian-based values and ethos of the College, including planning and leading daily Christian devotions, in alignment with the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
  • Engage in professional learning to stay current with educational research and contribute to school priorities, while modelling the College?s values and behaviours.
