We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will play a critical role in producing precision components that meet our high-quality standards. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our cutting-edge projects and drive the growth of our business.

Responsibilities:

Set up, program, and operate CNC Lathe and Machining Centre machines to produce new and existing parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.

Creating fixtures from concept to program to manufacture.

Select appropriate cutting tools, machine speeds, and feeds to optimize machining processes.

Setting and operating our vertical CNC Mill and CNC Lathe.

Conduct routine maintenance and ensure machines are in optimal working condition.

Perform quality control inspections to verify the accuracy and precision of finished parts.

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the machining process.

Collaborate with the production team to prioritize and schedule machining jobs.

Continuously monitor production processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in both CNC Lathe and CNC 4 axis vertical mill machining

Proficiency in setting up and programming CNC machines

Knowledge of various materials commonly used in machining (e.g., metals, plastics, etc.)

Knowledge of tooling.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

Safety-conscious and familiar with best practices in machining operations.

Preferred:

Technical certifications or relevant formal training in CNC machining.

Experience with, Fanuc controls – Solid CAM programming experience

Experience with 4 axis or greater filling centres
