We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team at Ogis Engineering Pty Ltd in Milperra, NSW. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for the efficient and precise operation of our state-of-the-art CNC machines, producing high-quality parts and components for our valued clients. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity to showcase your technical expertise and contribute to the success of our growing engineering company.

What you'll be doing

Operate and programme a range of CNC machines to manufacture parts and components to precise specifications

Interpret engineering drawings, work instructions and specifications to ensure accurate and efficient production

Perform routine maintenance and adjustments on CNC machines to maintain optimal performance

Monitor machine output and identify and resolve any issues or deviations from quality standards

Collaborate with the engineering team to implement process improvements and enhance productivity

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to production activities

Adhere to all relevant health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Formal qualification in Engineering, Mechanical, or a related discipline

Extensive experience (minimum 5 years) as a CNC Machinist, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment

Proven ability to programme, set up and operate a variety of CNC machines, including lathes, mills and grinders

Strong technical skills and a deep understanding of machining processes, materials, and quality control

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with precision and accuracy

Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently

Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the wider engineering team
