  • Champion trauma-informed and therapeutic practices in our services
  • Work closely with families, educators, and external professionals to support children with complex needs
  • Lead and deliver training and contribute to continuous quality improvement

This role offers a mix of strategic influence and hands-on engagement across before/after school care and vacation care programs.

What You Will Bring

You're someone who thrives on helping others understand behaviour, build their confidence, and create safe, supportive environments for children.

  • Tertiary qualifications in human services, social work, behavioural science, or related field
  • You'll have proven experience supporting children with complex behaviours and trauma backgrounds
  • Knowledge of therapeutic approaches and trauma-informed practice
  • Your excellent communication, coaching and problem-solving skills will help you deliver
  • Current Blue Card, National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certification
  • Valid driver's licence and ability to travel across service locations

Why Join the Y?

  • Purpose-driven work that strengthens local communities
  • Access to professional development and leadership pathways
