We are seeking to appoint casual Educators (Children’s Services Employee) at St Benedict's Outside of School Hours Care in Mango Hill.
At St Benedict's Outside School Hours Care we provide before school care, after school care and vacation care to up to 150 children. Our OSHC operates from a dedicated space, and we have access to a large sports oval.
We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic educator who is passionate about supporting primary school aged children to grow and develop and are committed to seeing them learn and have fun in a happy and safe environment.
Inclusion Support experience is a big plus and would be greatly valued by the team.
A day in the life of an OSHC Educator…
- Providing nurturing care for children
- Ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming environment
- Create fun recreational and educational experiences that are inclusive for all
- Maintain positive working relationships with all team members
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.

Job Requirements:
- Cert III or Diploma in Children's Services (or ACECQA equivalent) would be preferred.
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning framework and National Law/Regulations or ability to acquire
- Effective communication skills within the workplace
