We are putting together the ‘dream team’ in the newest veterinary clinic in Hobart. A brand new purpose built clinic in New Norfolk.

Imagine taking every awesome bit out of every clinic you’ve ever worked at and implementing them in a brand new clinic. We have a component of woke- we have team alignment days, team rules and goals we aim for. This is a team that staff cry when they leave (1 person in 7 years) and we also cry when then leave. This is a team that staff say “this place is it for me, I’ll be here forever”.

But this is also a team that prioritises you’re CPD, that makes this a profession not just a job. This is a team that operates in a feedback culture, and if you see something to be improved on, then let’s get it done. We have a real open door policy, not one bogged down by bureaucracy.

We are looking to fill a full time small animal nurse position starting in August. The clinic has all the bells and whistles - 2 surgery suites, separate cat and dogs wards (with under tile heated cages!) and 4 consulting rooms. We will be offering the whole range of care - ortho surgery, medical work ups, X-ray, ultrasound, Idexx machines. There will be a high level of autonomy as we get on our feet and get the clinic flowing. There may be the occasional Saturday morning required.
