Job Title: Senior Draftsperson

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Senior Draftsperson to produce layouts, shop drawings, and orders. This exciting opportunity also includes producing programs for our Peddinghaus Beamline, with full on-the-job training. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Tekla, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office, and demonstrate strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Creating detailed CAD/TEKLA drawings as per the instructions and specifications provided by architects or engineers

Revising and updating existing drawings reflecting design changes

Ensuring final designs comply with regulations and quality standards

Collaborating with engineers, clients and project managers to understand and implement project objectives

Collaborate with purchasing to ensure stock is ordered in a timely manner

Generate and manage orders.

Checking drawings for mistakes and inaccuracies

Creating and altering construction sketches

Following project schedules and deadlines as set by Director

Maintaining organised work files and project documentation

Engage in necessary training to maintain relevancy in role.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proficiency in Tekla, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.

Ability to work well within a team.

Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.

Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
