About the role

As a Used Car Reconditioning Technician at NQ Auto Group, you will be responsible for preparing and reconditioning pre-owned vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring they are in pristine condition and ready for sale. This full-time role is based in our state-of-the-art facility in Townsville, Queensland.

What you'll be doing

Conducting comprehensive inspections of used vehicles to identify any repair or reconditioning requirements

Performing high-quality mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic work to restore vehicles to showroom condition

Utilising your expertise to troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of vehicle issues

Maintaining detailed records of all work carried out and parts used

Collaborating with the sales team to ensure vehicles are prepared and presented to the highest standards

Adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organised workspace

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified automotive technician or mechanic

Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of issues

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship

Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment

Good communication skills and customer service orientation

Valid driver's licence and your own tools

Current Queensland Roadworthy Inspection certificate or abiltity to obtain one
