About the role

Bridgestone Select Bundaberg is seeking a skilled Mechanic/Automotive Technician to join our team in Bundaberg, Queensland. As a full-time employee, you will be responsible for providing high-quality vehicle maintenance and repair services to our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and suspension
• Perform scheduled maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections
• Use advanced diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve complex vehicle issues
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers and addressing their concerns
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used
• Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks

What we're looking for

• Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent experience as a Mechanic or Automotive Technician
• Strong working knowledge of vehicle systems and the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of issues
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve complex vehicle problems
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers
• A strong focus on safety and a commitment to following workshop procedures and policies
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
