JB Contracting is a rapidly growing contractor to the Mining and Civil Earthworks Industry across the goldfields of WA and the Pilbara.

To service our growing fleet we seek the services of a HD Fitter based at our new workshop in Kalgoorlie.

The role involves servicing of our fleet and breakdowns. You will have experience on yellow gear CAT, John Deere , Komatsu: Trucks - American, European and Japanese, trailers with knowledge on air systems and electrical knowledge, and ideally an Aircon ticket.

The successful candidate will be well organised self starters with strong interpersonal communication skills and an aptitude to learn. You will need to demonstrate a “can do” attitude and be able to pass and maintain Pre Employment Medical checks and Drug and Alcohol tests.

Key Skills and experience include:

• Relevant Trade Certificate
• Experience working on civil or mining equipment
• Rights to work in Australia.
• Ability to provide a National Police Clearance (mandatory).
• Able to pass Drug and Alcohol tests on an ongoing basis.
• Licence To Perform High Risk Work (Forklift) or able to obtain this ticket
• Great time management skills
