Westfill Pty Ltd is on the lookout for skilled and experienced HD Fitters to join our team for mining operations across Western Australia. This is a FIFO 7/7 or 2/2 roster, offering excellent work/life balance and rates starting from $80/hour.

Established in 2020, Westfill was established by respected industry professionals with decades of experience in technical engineering design and “boots-on-the-ground” operational expertise in underground mining.

Today, having developed a reputation for consistently delivering safe, reliable, and professional contract services for national and international underground mining projects, Westfill Pty Ltd is a principal underground mining contractor and a full-service provider for mining operations.

Responsibilities:

Fault finding – mechanical, hydraulic, electrical

Servicing and breakdown repairs

Preventative maintenance and defect repairs

Scope jobs accurately for quality repair of plant and equipment, including estimation of time, materials and resources required to complete the job

Promote an enjoyable, safe and productive work environment

The ideal candidate will have:

A minimum of 2 years’ post-trade experience working in heavy machinery, agriculture, civil, construction or mining environment

Heavy Diesel Mechanic qualification (Essential)

Previous mining experience (Essential)

Strong diagnostic, maintenance, and fault-finding skills

Able to demonstrate an excellent attitude and compliance with safety policies and procedures.

A proactive, team-oriented attitude and strong safety focus

Current Valid Manual Driver’s License (Essential)

Full Australian Working Rights (Essential)

WA-based and available for FIFO (Essential)
